Phewww... finally!

Hie to all!! Finally, I'm back after hmm about 10 days of disappearance. Feeling much better than 10 days before, definitely *wink wink. Thank you for the sweet messages - I appreciate them all!

Let me to frank with everyone, actually I did check my bloggie twice a day (oppssi!). No, not because I couldn't be 'really' away but there was this dumb spammer spamming my posts & shoutmix. Kinda pathetic - calling me names & stuff. I had no choice but to log in to clear by 'the mess' he left behind. I know no one here gonna bother the anonymous ass, but I like my pages to be clean. That's all.

Anyway, I have changed the blog theme colour to RED!! Oooo la la!!! Hot isn't it? I don't know why but I have a thing for black-red combination :P And the new simple header? At the background is a photo of orange-red-coloured tulips, and it was sent to me by my childhood friend who has since migrated to another country. Guess she knows I fancy tulips (ah.. whole world knows that nah? ;)).

I'm in a good spirit and I don't wanna talk about what happened to me. It was not a hilarious story to be shared anyway. Lets move forward!! Muaaaaaaaaxxxxxxxxxxx!!!!

A Short Break

Hey guys, I am a bit unwell at the moment & just can't get myself to think straight. No, it is not psychological illness. I'm taking a break from blogging & blog-hopping till I get well again. Till then, do visit my other posts in this page. They are all still open for discussion. I will reply to all the comments when I got back to the blogworld.

Gonna miss everyone.

Hugsss.

I'm in love with PayPerPost!

It was not long before I announced that I have signed up for PayPerPost, and now only after few paid posts, I have made around USD55 (7 paid posts so far). Hehehehehe.. Not bad for paid posts which only require us to write 50-100 words (min) to earn at least USD5 per post! Plus I am not a very active paid post blogger - only blogs whenever I feel like it. Must admit these blog ads are a neat way for earning extra money while doing what we all love to do - blogging!!!

My only regret is that I am not in America or Europe as many of the featured ads (which pays really well) are restricted for those from such countries/continents. May be PayPerPost can come up with more featured ads for those in Asian countries (like me.. ahem).

In my side bar, you can see 2 PPP icons. The first one says "get paid to blog things you love" and the second one says "hire me". Click the first one and Join me there!!

The Star Obession

I read my star sign every week, but I will forget everything I read by the time I finish reading the whole newspaper :P. I simply never bother about it, until I read my star sign for last Sunday:

I am not a superstitious person. I don't believe black colour will cast bad spell on me. In fact, black is always my favourite colour ;). and I have nothing against number 13. But I am surprised it was listed as my 'lucky' colour and number. Black is my number 1 choice of colour whenever I purchase clothes, shoes or handbags. I got tonnes of black-coloured stuff in my room :P. No one at home ever agreed with my choice of black colour, saying it brings bad luck. And here, somebody is predicting that it's going to be my lucky colour for the week! WHOA!

How many of you read your star sign every day/every weekend? Do you take it seriously or just brush it aside after reading it? Or do you try to correlate whatever happening right now with what you read in your star sign earlier?

Btwn, did I actually wear a black top to office the next day?
No, It was light blue. Hehehehehe!

The Semen Story

I did semen analysis before :P. Please believe me when I say so. It was my industrial training and I was placed in one of the leading pathological laboratory here. There will be a rotation and the trainees were required to be placed in each department for about 7 - 10 days whether you like it or not. That's when I learnt to analyse blood, urine, stool (yucks!) and semen! :)))))

I was 21 and I never seen seminal fluid ever prior to that. Hehehehe.. not at I am seeing it everyday now. It was initially freaky and I was a bit 'shy'. It was an analysis for male infertility. We got to record the colour, liquidity, sperm motility and sperm count. As semen has to be analysed within 2 hours upon collection, the clients usually drop by the lab and 'provide' their samples then and there. Hell no! We are not allowed to collect the sample from the clients, mind you ;) Our work strictly confined to the lab.

I remember wearing double gloves - just to make sure NONE of the semen touched my hands or fingers. I couldn't imagine eating my lunch with my hands if I ever got into close contact with that sticky thing! :S God bless the glove-makers! One thing I enjoyed doing there will be watching the sperms moving. Or was it racing? Hehehehehe!

Humour apart, I realised one thing - there are few men out there understood there is such thing as male infertility. When a couple is not blessed with a child, the first thing one would say - "send the wife for a medical check up". What's wrong in sending the husband for a check up? The facts say that in any case of a couple being childless, 40% of the infertility is related to men and 20% of the cases is incurable. And here we got men marrying for second or even third time citing that his wife is 'infertile'.

Probably they don't want their ego to be shattered. That's one. What could be other reasons for some men to ignore the fact they need professional help here?

Lets start the debate!

Love & Romance

Be it your girlfriend, wife or even a high-school sweetheart, I am sure you have 'used' an art of love and romance of your own. You showered her with traditional chocolotaes and roses. You wrote her long love letters. You showed up outside her apartment exactly at 12am to wish her "Happy Birthday". Cute. But I know some are real dummies when it comes to this wonderful art. Some come up with pathetic so-called ideas to be romantic and worse still, some doesn't even know such thing exists! *sigghhhhhh!!!!

Guess that is when a website like Romance for Everyone comes in handy. It does not only caters for men (and may be boys :P) who are somehow unable to be romantic on their own, but it also provide women (and girls) with similar helpful articles. The articles ranges from romantic ideas to relationship articles to harmony advices for both gender.

It is definitely a site worth browsing through.

Wanna go for a date?

Not every one of us is blessed with a wonderful relationship. Many have chosen to stay single simply because they are unable find The One! The ever demanding life as student and working young adult has taken a toll in our personal life. The 'search' seems to be harder if you have special preferences of a suitable partner. Here, I came across a site specially dedicated to all goth singles out there! Aha.. now thats a news! This is the first time I came accross a term called "goth dating". My curiosity lead me to the site and believe or not, its all in black!! Whoa! That's my favourite colour ever! They are creative enough to come up with a Black Book! What is a Black Book? Wanna know more? Check it out in gothscene.com!

An inspirational blog

I stumbled upon an inspiring motivational blog called Karl’s Blog. Being a sucker of self-help and motivational books, it didn’t take me long to get hooked to this blog. While I must admit I don’t have enough of time to blog-hop as I really wish to, I randomly read Karl’s latest posts especially the ones labelled as ‘inspiration’. He asks important but rarely asked questions like ‘do you really spend time with yourself?’ and talks in great length about life matters.

I dug further about this man and I found out that Karl Moore is a best-selling author and entrepreneur. No surprises as this blog definitely reflects his worth. He posts inspirational messages to his blog daily, designed to inspire and help individuals in their spiritual growth.

On a Monday, he also posts a "Random Act of Kindness"... and on a Friday, he posts a "Friday Factoid."

Certainly a blog worth your time reading it!
