I spent my Deepavali either sleeping or walking around like a zombie. Flu/Sore throat couldn't find a better time to attack me and one week later, I'm still suffering! *sigh..That is the bad news. But the good news is I manage to capture the important moments on my Deepavali celebration!
I don't know about others, but for me, the Eve is the best of Deepavali. Deepavali morning is not bad either :P And my open house last Saturday ended my Deepavali celebration for this year!

Eve started with a visit to my late grandfather's resting place. Offered prayers there.
Came back home to bath and have a good dinner. The night continued with games and dance.
The Deepavali Day itself started with a visit to the nearby temple and followed by a hearty breakfast back home.
My favourite segment of the day - getting angpow and new clothes!
My home - basically it glittered!
I had this small open house for close friends last week. Marked the end of my Deepavali celebration :-)
