Of porn & baby dumping

"Porn a major reason behind baby dumping" - It's one of the most idiotic statements I have heard in recent time.

In a country where (supposedly) sex education not taught to the students due to 'cultural and religious' factors, how else you expect teens to seek 'knowledge' on sex if not from porn and peers? We are definitely not a community which talks openly about sex education and the only possible solution was to have formal education in schools. But even that has been shot down. So, what are the other resorts for them to learn?

Sex education is not about how to have sex. It's about how to come into terms with ones sexuality and how to handle it maturely. In my humble opinion, a properly delivered sex education would have reduced cases of baby dumping. It's impossible for certain leaders to believe youth to abstain from sex till marriage and it's plain stupid to get a young couple married so that they can have sex "legally". Stop living in a coconut shell, will you?

And now baby dumping may be considered as attempted murder and cases where the baby dies will be considered murder. My question - who is going to be charged? In most situation, the father would have long gone, leaving the young mother to resort into drastic measure. What if the father cannot be traced at all? So, are the authority going to let the boy to get off scot-free while the girl punished? Enlighten me here.

Having said this, the reality is - we can't stop teens from having sex, but we can definitely educate them how to safeguard themselves.

p/s: Ironically, The Star had this news of an HK director attempting to produce 3D porn appearing together with this news! LMAO!
