Twitter me

*This is not a paid post :P
I have been actively updating my Twitter lately. Its a great tool for me to keep up with what my other Twittermates (is there a word like this..I wonder) are doing and at the same time updating them about my whereabouts as well. Currently I have 30 followers and following 20 Twittermates.

For those who doesn't know anything about it, a quick wiki about Twitter may help. Lot of information there. Here some of the highlights about this wonderful program:
- a free social networking and micro-blogging service that allows users to send "updates" or "tweets"...to the Twitter web site, via the Twitter web site, SMS, IM or application such as Twitterrific or Facebook.
- Updates are displayed on the user's profile page and instantly delivered to other users who have signed up to receive them.
- ...began as a research and development project inside San Francisco start-up company Obvious, LLC in March 2006.
- .. Twitter announced on their blog that they recently created a version of Twitter for Japanese users.
- The first Twitter security vulnerability was reported on April 7, 2007 by Nitesh Dhanjani.
Enough of the facts, just hover the link to my Twitter page and start

Just a hypothetical question which I would like some feedback on. Just imagine this:
You were happily blogging away for months or maybe years now. Your blog has nothing else except for truth and only the true experiences of your life. You were enjoying sharing them with your newly found blogmates, who gives suggestions and criticisms without having to face you in real. But your blog is well hidden from those you know in the real world. Everything seems to be fine...
Until one fine day, you found out that a cousin of yours has been reading your blog. Or your parents found out your blog by accident. Worse, your boss bumped to your blog.
Not that it landed you in a bitter row or civil suit, but it's the feeling of you being watched. You feel you are not invisible in the blogworld. You know you have been swearing a lot in your blog. You have been typing it away without fear. But now, someone is watching you. Reading everything you type (and read everything you typed). Freaky?
How this is going to change you and your writing style? Are you going to quit blogging all together or just gonna be more cautious in your writing? Or you simply don't care at all?
***
I don't know how reliable this is, but The Blog Readability Test says...Something to be proud of? Or I should start to worry because it needs high level of education to understand the content of this blog? Looking at the other side of the spectrum, it only means my blog readers are all geniuses!! Congrats everyone! *wink wink
And Happy Nostalgic Friday everyone:
One of my all time favorite...

I'm a Blogger-person and after 3+ years relying on blogspot, I have grown to love it here. Of course Wp is more powerful, but for me Blogger.com is more than enough.
Over the period, my blog has seen numerous changes in her look. Usually I surf around for new templates and give it a fresh look before applying it here. I never used a blog template as it is but normally used it as a basis. I have seen various brilliant templates and here I am sharing my top 10 choices of blogger templates especially for female bloggers in a random order. The designs remain copyrights of the respective designer.
1. Butterfly girly

Pretty isn't it?my current blog template is derived from this template. can you believe that? :P
Download
2. OMG smashing
3. Colibri

One of the most girlish template I have ever seen. Looks a bit cluttered for some, but I think it looks.. well, girlish and pretty!
Download
4. Flower Pink
5. Rosa

Stunning header! Bright colours! It's nice but not my kinda template. Maybe that's why I never used it. My little sis might like to have this template though.
Download
6. Art Imagination
7. Flower

White-black-catchy blue combination. Its for those who wants a clean but a bit girlish template.
Download
8. Divalicious
9. Retro Lady
10. She's Got Style
There are still many more templates to be featured. Maybe will have a part two to this post. Have you came across any beautiful, stylish yet girlish templates lately?

This blog has been under alot of pressure and severe harassment ever since it was created, by none other than me, the author :P
What started as a simple blog holding scribblings of my daily activities (and complains) transformed itself to a complex bloggie over the time period. Remember the red blinking background and the scrolling profile pictures of my blogmates? Now its back to basic! My blog buddy list has been replaced with Google Reader. It lists only current updates. So you update your bloggie, you automatically got listed in it. Fair enough? Besides that, I added MyBlogLog's widget: Recent Readers. It lists down the recent visitors of the blog/profile via mybloglog. The trick is you have to be a member of that site to get listed here. The header is now being kept to the minimum. Simplicity is the best nah? Apart from that, the Shoutbox, my flickr and list of other projects stays where they always been.
Many have asked for the templates that I use. I never ever remove any credits of the original designers. So, you may wanna explore their collections by clicking the links (usually at the footer). As for your info, I love Pannasmontata Template. You'll find neat work there. Most of the time, I use templates from there but i normally will customize the images, colours and some time the side bars. You may also find thousands of blog templates in BlogSkin.
Now this post begining to sound like a sponsored post! Hahaha.. Well, I just wanna write something about TS in TS! :P Ended up giving a review instead. Anyway, this is my 215th post. Not so say its a significant number, but its always me asking you guys questions etc. Of course this is my bloggie and I may write what I want to, but this time I would like to open the floor for a Q&A session (sounds formal, i know..). Previously I did this once as a tag, and I restricted the questions to one per person and requested for no sensitive question to be asked. This time, there will be no such restriction. You may ask any question you like, and I will try my best to answer. Have a wonderful weekend. And yea, thats me in a sexy black saree, which I will wear again for a reunion dinner tonite.. got to lose some weight there :p

I was surfing around when I bumped into this wonderful free site called Dumpr. You get to have fun with your photos which are hosted in Flickr. You may also upload the URL or upload the pictures directly from your computer. Of course the effects are possible with Adobe Photoshop. But for those without the basics and to save time, Dumpr (together with Picasa) will be helpful.
The header image for the latest tulipspeaks was made using the Amazing Circles in Dumpr. The original image is here.
I did some 'magic' to my photos and they are all in the slide show below. Discover the site and have fun!
